Power of the PenWe love to write!
The Power of the Pen is a program in which our Middle School students compete against other schools in writing competitions. It also signifies our love of putting our thoughts on paper, whether we are participating in various writing contests locally and regionally, penning letters to other students around the world, creating prayers to share, dreaming up stories for our Kindergarten buddies, enjoying weekly creative writing sessions every Wednesday after school, or joining with our Christ the King parishioners to write about the Good News, Liturgical celebrations and our Catholic faith. We love to write! Current Writing Competitions: 2012 Toledo Bar Association Law Day Essay Contest Due March 9, 2012 http://www.toledobar.org/Resources/Law-Day-Essay-Contest/Law-Day-Essay-Contest/ List of 2012 General Writing Competitions for Children http://www.katyisd.org/STUDENTS/Pages/StudentWriting.aspx
