Welcome to Christ the King Preschool

 

A place filled with love, laughter, excitement, exploration, and fun!

Our Preschool is a part of the Christ the King Catholic Church community.  It is rooted in the strong foundations of our Catholic faith and promotes the spiritual, academic, physical, and emotional well-being of each child. Our dedicated preschool teacher and assistants provide students with the integral fundamentals needed to succeed in their education.

The vision of Christ the King Preschool is the care and guidance of children to learn to the best of their ability.  Our preschool children are given opportunities to engage in hands-on activities to prepare them the best we can for Kindergarten. At Christ the King, we are able to use Jesus Christ in everything we teach, providing for a nurturing environment rooted in our faith.

As a Catholic-based program, Christ the King Preschool follows the Diocese of Toledo Preschool Course of Study and the Early Learning Content Standards out by the State of Ohio.  Our Preschool program allows for collaboration and community involvement that is school-wide.

Our Preschool program is designed for children 3 - 5 years old.  The 3-year-old program focuses on peer interaction as well as recognizing shapes, colors, numbers, and each child's name.  The 4-year-old program is specifically designed to prepare the students for Kindergarten.  The students learn to properly write their first and last names, recognize the letters of the alphabet, as well as the sounds they make and how to write them.  They participate in basic math, science, and social studies lessons.

 

Scheduled Class Times: 4 & 5 Year Olds

Class days are Monday, Wednesday & Friday's OR Monday - Friday 

      Half Day Students: 8:00am - 11:00am

      Full Day Students: 8:00am - 2:30pm

 

Scheduled Class Times: 3 Year Olds

Class days are Tuesday's & Thursday's 

     Half Day Students: 8:30am - 11:00am

     Full Day Students: 8:30am - 2:30pm

 

*Extended care is offered every morning at 7:30am and after school every day until 6:00pm!*
